Refund & Return Policy

At Black Oak Leather, every piece is handcrafted by myself from start to finish. Because each item is made individually and often to order, I operate on a small scale that allows for exceptional care, but also means I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons unrelated to defect or damage. I appreciate your understanding and support of a one‑maker workshop.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives with a defect or is damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your package. I stand behind the quality of my work, and I will gladly review your situation. Once the issue is confirmed, I will provide a replacement of the same item.

• Your order number
• A brief description of the issue
• Clear photos of the defect or damage

I will respond promptly with next steps.


Quality Assurance

Every item is carefully inspected before it leaves my workbench. Because I work exclusively with genuine, full‑grain leather, natural variations in grain, texture, color, and markings are expected. These characteristics are not considered defects. They are part of what makes each piece unique and a true reflection of the material’s natural beauty.


Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of being placed. Since each item is made to order, I begin preparing materials shortly after an order is received. Cancellations after this window cannot be accepted.
